After defeating Barbados, India became the second team in Group A which qualified for the semi-finals. Australia is placed on top in Group A. On the other hand, the host England and New Zealand reached in semis from Group B. Both semi-final matches will be played on August 6 at Edgbaston Ground, but India will face whom it could not be decided yet and is assumed to rectify by midnight today? India will face the winner of today’s England vs New Zealand match.
In a do or out from semi’s race battle, India recorded a big win over Barbados by 100 runs and qualified for the semi-finals on Wednesday.
