Amid the unrelenting praise of Indian Pacer Jaspreet Bumrah in cricket corridors as he has shown recently his wrecking performance (6/19 of 7.2 overs) against England in first battle of three ODI series at Oval, The Former Pakistani captain Salman Butt raised a fresh controversy comparing Bumrah and Shaheen Afridi, the Pakistani pacer. Butt said,

Shaheen is no less. In fact he has more pace than Bumrah. Shaheen is not behind India’s speedster.

          Earlier, Former England Captain Nasser Hussain praised on Bumrah, the No 1 ICC ranked bowler. Hussain said, “Jaspreet Bumrah is the best across format. He took 6 wickets in the first ODI against England at the Oval.”

          Butt’s comment came over Bumrah and Afridi’s comparison after the Hussain’s praising on the No 1 bowler in ranking. The Indian fans started trending it on social media with there is big different between both Contry’s pacer. Indian fans of cricket said, “No chance to compare World no. 1 ranking player with Shaheen Afridi even he has not played matches as Bumrah.”

          “Shaheen has not played a lot of cricket, he is among the best bowlers. He is no less than Bumrah. Shaheen has more pace and will get better with passage of time. It is always exciting to watch Bumrah and Shaheen bowling with the new ball,” replied But on fan’s questions.
