On the 72nd birthday of our dear Honorable prime minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, we first of all wish him our best wishes. But it is not only us who have passed him best wishes but also many well-wishers from across the world that includes even sports stars.

  • The list of wishes and gifts includes the name of Srikanth Kidambi, the star Indian Badminton player who gifted PM Modi with his autographed Badminton.
  • The players of the Hockey, Wrestling, Lawn bowling and para powerlifting gifted PM Modi, their autographed T-shirts

On this special day, all the gifts and mementos received by PM Modi from all across the world will be auctioned in the fourth edition of the e-auction which will be conducted through web-portal, mmementos.gov.in. As per news, there are around 1000 items ranging from100 to 10 lakhs that will be auctioned and the best thing is, anyone can bid and acquire these gift items.

The price money received from these gift options will contribute to a worthy cause which is for the “NamamiGangeProgramme”

The NGMA (National Gallery of Modern Art), where all the artistic values, will be kept at the exhibition for auction, the director general of the NGMA, Adwaita Gadanayaka said,

These mementos are tokens of love and appreciation that the Prime Minister inspires amongst people. While many are objects of considerable artistic value, some are simple handmade gifts of love; all of which are nevertheless, collector’s items by virtue of their place in history.

She added further,

It is with pride that we announce the auction of these gift items from September 17 to October 2, 2022, and the general public is invited to participate in the same. This will be the fourth of the series of successful auctions, first launched by the PMO in January 2019. As in the past, the funds raised through the auction will contribute to a worthy cause the NamamiGangeProgramme,

As briefed above, the funds raised from the auction money will be used for the conservation and the rejuvenation of the National River Ganga to improve its ecosystem which indeed is a noble cause.

Not the least, in the list of congratulating Shri PM Modi includes the names of cricket star Virat Kohli, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Shashi Tharoor, Defense minister, King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan to name a few.
