Will Novak Djokovic be permitted to play in the US Open due to not having the dose of Covid-19 Vaccine? Waiting to unveil the question 12,000 tennis lovers have signed an online petition asking to USTA officials to allow Djokovic, the 21 times Grand Slam Winner for upcoming 142th  edition of the US Open. The US Open-2022 is scheduled to start on August 29 and will run till September 11 this year.

The people who have signed in petition think that if the United States Tennis Association would allow the recent Wimbledon men’s single Champion, the upcoming Cincinati Open (The Western & Southern Open, a historic international men’s and women’s tennis tournament) will become more exciting and entertaining.

Djokovic, the three times US Open Champion respectively in 2011, 2015 and 2018 is still on his stance as he had said,

He will not get a dose of Covid-19 Vaccine whether he will play or not in US open and Australian Open.

As we know that Current US regulations forbid entry to the country by non-vaccinated foreign visitors and Djokovic has previously said he has no plans to back down from his stance.

The 7th times Wimbledon Grand Slam winner Djokovic said at the court interview which was being held after his fourth straight Wimbledon wins in this month,

I’d like to play the US Open but if it doesn’t happen it’s not the end of the world, nor the first Grand Slam I have to withdraw from.

Earlier, this month Serbian Tennis Star admitted that he was unlikely to play in the United States unless entry rules changes.
