Captain Rohit Sharma has no plans to retire from T20 International once the format enters talks. He lost the recently concluded T20I series to Sri Lanka, where all-rounder Hardik Pandya took the lead in the series. After the series, there was speculation about Rohit Sharma’s future in T20I.

Rohit Sharma addressed the media ahead of the three-game ODI series against Sri Lanka. It will begin in Guwahati on Monday. Rohit Sharma is saying that, he was taking a break and not giving up on the T20 format.
He emphasized that it is important for the players to rest as the team is playing 2 games in a row. Rohit said: “First of all, you can’t play back-to-back games. You have to give them (players of all formats) enough breaks. I’m definitely in too. We have three T20Is against New Zealand. “We’ll see what happens after the IPL. I haven’t decided to give up the format.”
