Badminton player Lakshya Sen, who created history for India on May 15 by winning the Thomas Cup, returned home on Monday night. Lakshya Sen reacting after arriving at Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore said that it is a really proud moment for India, everyone has come together as a team.

Lakshya Sen also said during this time that there was a completely different atmosphere in the final. I didn’t really have a good start in the match as I lost the first game… I think I really changed things in the second and third games. I was nervous during the last leg, but I played safe and didn’t show any haste.

Sen said that we did not think that we would go this far in the tournament but one thing was for sure, we knew that we can beat any team; Our thinking was to focus on one match at a time and don’t think about the results… because nothing is impossible.
