Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma on Monday unveiled the ultimate wrap of her coming film ‘Chakda Express’. That supports the lifetime of former India women’s team pacer Jhulan Goswami. (Read Also: The 5 highest exclusive deals at this IPL Auction at Kochi)
To mark the occasion, Anushka and her entire team had an awfully special guest once Jhulan herself came and celebrated the day on the set. In a series of photos shared on Instagram by Anushka. The previous Indian National Team Skipper was seen cutting a cake with the actor.
In early September, Jhulan contend her final international match, wherever the Indian women defeated the English ladies to wash sweep win in the three-match ODI series.
Jhulan left the game when taking part in 12 Tests, 204 ODIs, and 68 T20Is for the Indian women’s team. She took 2 wickets on her last appearance, tallying her ODI wickets to 255, the foremost for a girl cricketer.
“To my cricket family and beyond. The day has finally come! As each journey ends. My 20+ year cricket journey nowadays announces my retirement from all styles of cricket. It ends with, as the writer said, ‘It’s sensible that job has an end. For me, this trip was the foremost satisfying. It had been exhilarating, exciting, and incautious to mention the least. I even have worn the Indian jersey for over twenty years and have the privilege of serving my country to the simplest of my ability. I feel proud whenever I hear the anthem before a game,” Jhulan had written on Twitter when retirement.
