Though India is out of the race for Asia Cup final after coming out Pakistan victorious against Afghanistan on Wednesday at Dubai International Stadium, but they have a chance today to make India’s fans happy in the end of their tournament campaign against Afghanistan.

India and Afghanistan will meet for the first time in the tournament at Dubai International Stadium on Thursday, September 8. For both teams, It will be the third and last match of their super-4 schedule. Earlier, India has lost it’s two matches against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday, September 4, and against Sri Lanka on Tuesday, September 6 while Afghanistan lost in the opening super 4 phase against Sri Lanka, and vs Pakistan yesterday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Surya Kuramr Yadav: He steps down Rohit Sharma (31 six in 2018) in the most T20 sixes (32 six in 2022) in the calendar year. He scored 34 off 29 balls against Sri Lanka and stitched a crucial 97-run partnership with captain Rohit Sharma. He hit a brilliant half-century (68 off 26 balls) against Hong Kong in group stage match. He would find his place against Afghanistan.

Hardik Pandya- He provides balance to the side. His presence means that India has a solid pace option and is a capable bowler.
