India vs Zimbabwe: Team India's eye to sweep Zimbabwe as they are leading by 2-0 after 2nd ODI

After sealing the series by 2-0, now team India’s eye to clean sweep Zimbabwe in the third match of the ongoing three matches ODI series that will be played between both today at Harare.

 Team India won the first match by 10 wickets, following an astonishing knock of opening pair Shikhar Dhawan (81*) and Shubhman Gill (82*). Medium pacer also had starred in the match during the first inning, he had picked 3/27 wickets of 7 ov and bagged the man of the match award.

  In the second match, Chahar was rested and Shardul Thakur had been included, who performed very similar to Chahar and picked 3 wickets. Zimbabwe’s bowlers gave a tough challenge at the start of the second inning, but the Indian batters finally chased their target as India won the match by five wickets. Sanju Samson’s unbeaten 43 off 39 balls helped India to victory. He was the player of the match in the second ODI.

  The third of the series will be played between both today at Hara Sports Club at 12:45 PM (IST). After losing previous matches as well as series, the host team will aim to win the final for a restful finish in their home. On the other hand, the visitors are likely to reunite at Harare with some new faces in playing XI and with the mindset to clean sweep the host in their own den.

Overall, the final battle will be very interesting. Experts assumed that The Blue men team has a high chance to clean sweep Zimbabwe as they performed in previous matches.

2nd ODI(August 20): India won by 5 wickets
3rd ODI(August 22): to be played today
