India beat Sri Lanka by four wickets at Eden Gardens in the 2nd ODI at Kolkata on Thursday. The victory also helped India extend their lead to 2-0 and secure a three-game winning streak in the ongoing India vs Sri Lanka series. KL Rahul was chasing a 216-run goal and hitting an unbeaten 64 runs from 103 balls while the hosts netted 219 runs after six from 43.2 overs. In the beginning, with the half century, Nuwanidu Fernando helped Sri Lanka to 215 runs in 39.4 overs. Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav were at their best in the Indian bowling division, scoring three wickets each.

Second innings: India batting
India started strong thanks to Shubman Gill, 21 innings of 12 balls – broken by 5 boundaries. But quickly lost its top batting order — the two Indian Openers Gill and Rohit Sharma (17 runs 21-ball) and Virat Kohli (4 runs 9-ball) — with 62 runs in just the 10th inning. KL Rahul scored the winning goal with 64 runs, 103 balls, 6 boundaries and remain not out. Shreyas Iyer (28), Hardik Pandya (36) and Axar Patel (21) played a helpful role as KL Rahul led the Indian team to victory in the 44th round.
