The ever known arc rival of cricket world, India and Pakistan are set to face on August 28 in Asia Cup 2022. It will be the first battle between both rival team since ICC men’s T-20 World Cup in 2021group stage match.

The 2022 edition of the Asia Cup is scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka from August 27 to September 11 of this year. The one of most prestigious cricket tournament will be played in T20 format this year. It was played in T-20 format in 2016 also.
It will be the good chance For Indian team to beat Pak and get revenge of crushing defeat by against opponent team led by Babar Azam in T-20 World Cup. Pak had won the match with 10 wickets.
Earlier, it was assumed that Asia Cup to be take place in Dubai because of Economic crisis in Sri Lanka. But Sri Lanka Cricket Board(SLC) full stop on the above topic on Thursday after announcing it’s decision that the premium tournament will take place in Sri Lanka as decided.
Ashle Dsilva, CEO of SLC told, ” All matches of tournament to held according to schedule. We have taken approval from ACC. He said that tournament will start form August 27. He told India is defending Champion of tournament. Qualifier match to be played first.
