India and England eyes on trophy after equal lead (1-1) in three matches ODI series

The England cricket team took their revenge after beating India by 100 runs in second match, as the India had taken over the English team earlier in first match of ODI series. Reece Topley, The England Pacer wreaked havoc on India’s batters by his retaliation performance (6/24 off 9.5 overs) from his team side. Now both team eyes on trophy as equal 1-1 lead in series.

Topley booked six Indian batters including the opener Rohit Sharma (0 run off 10 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (9 run off 26 balls) at Lords Ground on Thursday.

          Following the previous ODI strategy, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma decided to field first after winning the toss at Lords. Indian bowlers could not continue their perform of first match as result The England scored 246/10 in 49 overs. Moin Ali scored highest (47 off 64 balls, 2 fours, 2 sixes). In this order David Ville (41 off 49 balls, 2 fours, 2 sixes), Joney Bayorsto (38 of 38 balls, 6 fours), Jayson Roy (23 off 33 balls, 2 fours, 1 six) added run for the team.

Jaspreet Bumrah, the top 1 Icc ranking bowler could not maintain his previous form in second match as he shot to fame through his brilliant bowling in first match. Bumrah had taken 6/19 wickets of 7.2 overs. Mohammed Shami had succeeded to book 3 England players in the match and India won the match by 10 wickets.

          Indian opener started badly while chasing the target 247 given by England at Lords. Rohit Sharma booked on 0 scored by Reece Topley. Shikhar Dhawan also bold by Topley at score of 9.

          All rounder Ravindra Jadeja (29 off 44 balls) and Hardik Pandya (44 of 29 balls) scored highest from India side. Surya Kumar Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Virat Kohli scored 27, 23 and 16 respectively. No other player could touch two digit score.

Now India and England both eyes on trophy as equal 1-1 lead in three matches ODI series. Experts assumed that the battle will be going more excitement between both as India and England on same level after winning 1 match both.
