Soon after coming out of BCCI’s decision to exclude Jasprit Bumrah from the squad for T20 World Cup 2022, the 28-year-old pace spearhead reacted to the board’s decision. He expressed his sadness and wrote an emotional post on Twitter and thanked fans,
I am gutted that I won’t be a part of the T20 World Cup this time, but thankful for the wishes, care, and support I’ve received from my loved ones. He added, “As I recover, I’ll be cheering on the team through their campaign in Australia.
Jasprit Bumrah
Earlier, Bumrah was ruled out of ongoing India vs South Africa three matches T20 series. According to reports, he will be missed in the India team for the next 4-6 months.
