Gujarat Giants player Harleen Deol has been ruled out for the remainder of season 2 of the Women’s Premier League due to injury. The franchise’s Instagram account shared the statement confirming Harleen’s absence for the rest of the season.
“It is with regret that we inform you that Harleen Deol will not be able to participate in the remaining matches of the Women’s Premier League due to injury, we wish Harleen a speedy recovery, we are and look forward to returning to the sport in the near future,” the message read.
The Giants captioned the press release: “Our thoughts are with Harleen Deol, whose unfortunate injury has ruled her out of the remainder of the TATA WPL season. Take care, Harleen.”
