During Thursday night’s game at the G1C, the fans showed signs of exhaustion as they watched the Kings secure a 135-123 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, and a chicken wing suffered the consequences.

With 46 seconds left in the regulation, said fan threw said chicken wings on the G1C court. Stopping the game as the field worker ran away to collect the bad food. TNT play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan detailed the season, which started quickly in NBA circles.

“Why would anyone throw something so good on the ground?” Harlan asked detective Reggie Miller. “It’s crispy, it’s hot, but I almost went out and got it, I’m hungry.”

It’s good to know that throwing chicken wings, or anything else, in the field is a big no-no, and you shouldn’t do it, even if you’re desperate.

Thursday’s loss has tied the Kings with the G1C Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers. The NBA Play-In Tournament also involves them, dropping their record to 45-35. However, thanks to head-to-head tiebreakers, Sacramento remains at No. 8 seed in the Western Conference, ahead of two Pacific Division rivals.
