The head coach of the Australian team, Andrew McDonald comes out praising the for the newcomer all-rounder Axar Patel, who also won the “player of the series” title everybody thought was a weak replacement for Ravindra Jadeja. But surprisingly, Axar Patel prove everybody wrong with his extremely good bowling skills picking up 8 wickets in the 3-match T20I series against Australia. McDonald called Axar’s performance ‘outstanding’.

Axar, in particular, has an outstanding series. With Jaddu out everyone thought that it might become a bit of a weakness for India, but they’ve found another one again, which tends to happen

But when during the post-match conference when asked McDonald that if it’s a concern before the WC, he said,

The only difference, McDonald stated was the extra bouncy pitch for which they have Mitchel Starc as their best death bowler. He said,

Besides Axar and World Cup preparation, McDonald while stating how he encourages his guys to make good decisions and execute them, but from the Indian batting side, it is Hardik who out executes you, which he has seen across the series. He also had all praises for Suryakumar Yadav who showcased his capabilities of what he can do being a real threat.
