The Board of Control for Cricket in India has recently come up with a detailed schedule for the home series, against Australia followed by South Africa. Australian Team will be the first to do the touring for 3-match T20I Series while it will be followed by the Proteas just after that for a T20I and an ODI series. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the schedule for the upcoming Australia and South Africa’s tour of India. India’s international home season 2022-23 will commence with a three-match T20I series against Australia on September 20 and will be followed by a three-match T20I and ODI series against South Africa,
Let’s not understand and look at the fixtures that Team India has with these two veteran teams.

Now once the Australians come to visit and conclude the T20I series, the South African team will come and join the Indian team for a one on one. But the tournament against the Proteas will be a bit of an extended one as it will be having T20I as well as ODI matches included. Now let’s look at the schedule with proteas in hand.

The interesting thing about these series against Australians and the South African teams is that it will just finish before the mega event T20 World Cup. And the sole purpose behind conducting these matches is to know if there’s any last-minute changes need to be made and if the Indian is fully prepared or not.
India is currently engaged with the West Indies for a 5-match T20I series, and is also leading by 2-1. The Forth T20I match between the two will again be conducted on 6th August, 2022 and will be an interesting one, why? Because if India manages to win this match, they will also capture the T20I series with flying colors.
Right after the conclusion of the India Vs WI T20I series, the next assignment that Team India will be having against will be the Zimbabwe team, that will begin from 18th August and will be concluded by 22nd of the same month. More on this we’ll keep you posted.
