In the semi-finals, he defeated Thailand’s Sirpong Timarom 21-14, 21-15.

Mandeep had to be content with Rajat
In women’s singles, Mandeep Kaur (SL3) had to settle for a silver medal after losing 5-21 17-21 to Haliye Yildiz in the final. She had upset top seed and compatriot Mansi Joshi 21-18 21-14 in the semi-finals.
