Only one day to go for the mega exciting battle of India vs Pakistan at Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai International Cricket Stadium, UAE which is scheduled to be held tomorrow, August 28. Both teams will reunite at the same venue after T20 World Cup 2021 when Pakistan defeated the Blue Jersey Team by 10 wickets. This was the first win of Pakistan over the Blue men in any World Cup final match (ODI, T20).

The six-team tournament is wrapping in itself very important thing such as the top Indian batter Virat Kohli, who had played an international game in England on July 17, will come back in the international side as well as the national team after a break of over months.

In the interview, he opened up how he keeps his intensity high and how he always aims to give it all when he represents Team India on the field.

I am a person who makes up every day and feels like okay let’s what the day has for me and be part of everything through the day with absolute presence and involvement and happiness. That’s who I have always been. People ask me a lot how do you do this? How do you carry on with so much intensity? I Just tell them I love playing the game and I love the fact that I have so much to contribute for every ball and I would give every bit of my energy on the field and for me it never felt abnormal, Kohli was quoted as saying on BCCI.tv.

Talking about his poor form, Kohli asserted that he had to push for certain things which used to come naturally to him.

      A lot of people outside watch me and even within the India team they ask me how do you keep up with it? And I just tell them one simple thing: I want to make my team..my team at any cost. If that means I am gasping for breath when I walk off the field, so be it. That’s the kind of preparation I go through. To be able to play like that. Toh who naturally nahi ho raha thha toh mujhe  push kar na padna raha thha (that was not happening naturally, and I had to push myself), but I just didn’t  know it, said Kohli.

The 33-year-old batter, who is also called India’s run machine is currently out of his batting form. But he is highly expected to regain his form in the ahead Asia Cup. He has played a total of 16 matches in the Asia Cup. He has scored 766 runs in total 14 innings including three centuries and two half-centuries. As per his experience in Asia Cup, the former India captain will in the focus of Experts as well as fans.

Kohli is set to record another milestone achievement of his career in India vs Pakistan match on Sunday, August 28 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in UAE. The match will be a special occasion for Kohli to feature in the 100th T20I match of his glorious career.In the order, he will be the first Indian cricketer to play 100 matches across all three formats (ODI, Tests & T20I) of the sport. So, the scheduled match between India and Pakistan is a more momentous occasion for him.
