‘A leader like no other’: Birthday wishes pour in for MS Dhoni who turns 41

Former India team captain MS Dhoni has turned 41 recently. Social media was flooded with messages from all over the world. Dhoni who is currently in London cheering for Rafael Nadal these days is having personnel time with his family.

The former Indian cricketer and an all-time Gem for the Indian cricketing history was flooded with wishes. In Vijayawada, fans tributed the ‘Thala’ in a special way, that was by creating a giant cut-out of him. The picture of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, in a cut out form has recently gone viral and is doing rounds on the internet and getting immense amount of love in return from fans all over.

MS Dhoni has not lost his lustre and has grown with each new day. Truth be told, the former captain of the Indian national cricket team did not have a good IPL season this year and his team finished ninth in the IPL points table. It was the team’s worst performance as it was guided by the newly elected captain and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. However, after Jadeja quitting his role midway, Dhoni was seen taking the baton in his hand again and probably 2 our 3 matches he helped his team CSK to get some momentum back again.

As wicketkeeper he has accumulated 17266 runs in the international cricket history whereas with 829 dismissals his name stands at the top as Asian for achieving such a feat.
