But don’t worry, in this article, we’ll be discussing the players who took the most wickets in the world test championships. So, hold on to your breath and be ready to acknowledge.

Jasprit Bumrah – With 45 wickets, it is Jasprit Bumrah who is leading the charts here. The right arm pacer has been very productive probably in every game he has played especially during the test championship period that too in different series from different countries. Pitch, weather condition for the player was just a matter of saying, because if not, it would have been possible for him to reach the position where he is today. The kickstart that Mendis received to be in top five players, is the test series against West Indies last year (2021). He took astonishingly 18 wickets from the two match test series and was named the player of the series as well. However, following the next year Mendis failed to continue with momentum against Bangladesh, but bounced back quickly as he realized. He made a remarkable comeback against the Australia and Pakistan test series that took place in the months of June and July. The nine wickets haul against Pakistan was one of his best, which took place in Galle.
