The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced India’s 15-member squad for ahead T20 World Cup in Australia which is scheduled to start in next month. In the squad, six players, who were featured in India’s squad for last edition (2021), are not part of this year tournament.
These are the players who has been ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022- Ravindra Jadeja, Rahul Chahar, Varun Chakaravarthy, Ishan Kishan, Mohammad Shami, and Shardul Thakur.
But, Shami is featured among four players who have been named as standby players.
Star All-rounder- Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out due to a knee injury.
