T20 World Cup winner Robin Uthappa retires from all forms of cricket, won’t even play in IPL

Robbin Uthappa, one of those heroes who took the T20 World Cup to India in 2007, announced his retirement from all forms of “Indian cricket”. The 36-year-old shared a note on social media, writing,

It has been my greatest honour to represent my country and my state Karnataka. However, all good things must come to an end.

He played 46 ODIs and 13 T20Is for India scoring 1183 runs, and played in 205 matches in IPL for different teams and scored 4952-runs out of 197 innings including 27 brilliant half centuries.
