Indian Seamer Mohammad Shami’s deadly Over clinched a win for India against Australia in the World cup Warm up match on Monday at Gabba stadium, Brisbane. Australia had Six wickets in hand and was about score only 16 runs in the last 12 balls when the Indian fielders like Virat Kohli and Harshal Patel with Shammi changed the entire scene for them. The target was 186 for the Aussies.
Mohammad Shami returned from a break from COVID- 19 and removed the fitness question mark tagged above him. He joined the Indian squad after enough break from July. Shammi is the replacement in the World cup squad of India for the injured main bowler- Jasprit Bumrah.
Today Shammi bowled with many yorkers’ in his deciding over of the match and gifted 3 wickets to India. This made India win the warm-up against Australia. This over proved enough to snatch away a victory for India.
In the earlier over by Harshal Patel, The Indian fielding was amazing and Harshal gave away only 5 runs to put on pressure till the last over of Shami for the Aussies. His over also saw remarkable fielding with a direct hit run out by Virat Kohli.
