Jannik Sinner, world number eight, has become the youngest man in 16 years to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals.

The 21-year-old overcame Russia’s Roman Safiullin in the quarter-finals 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 to reach the Grand Slam semi-finals for the first time. Sinner won the game in two hours and fourteen minutes.
