Currently, while playing for Legend League Cricket in Doha, Qatar, Shahid Afridi was caught on camera in between a lovely gesture, where he signed an autograph on the Indian flag for security personnel. The act has caught the attention of various people around the globe & Mr. Afridi is getting praise from everywhere on social media. He is also currently playing for Asia Lions as their captain in Legends League Cricket.

Under his captaincy, Asia Lions registered an 85-run victory over India Maharajas to enter the finals. Twitter has applauded the legendary cricketer for his sweet & kind gesture toward his fan & the sweet gesture he displayed. A Twitter user said, “gestures like these go a long way in balancing the peace & harmony between India & Pakistan.”
Another wrote that “acts like these once again prove that humanity still exists, & kindness goes a long way to counter hatred.”
“Little actions like these, bring the world closer and promote love and peace on the planet! Proud of you Lala,” a fan hailed Afridi on Twitter. “Lala is a great sportsman and a true ambassador of love,” another fan wrote.
The aforementioned incident happened when Shahid Afridi was getting on the bus, after the match in which Asia Lions defeated India Maharajas. His way of signing the flag while keeping it on his lap has received some major backlash on social media, Twitter went ballistic on him. Many users wrote that though his gesture was beautiful his way of signing the flag was not acceptable as it was kept on Shahid Afridi lap.
