As every year in India, one person dies in every four minutes. Every hundred people dying in the world, 30 are Indians. It is more alarming that as per the World Research Institute, the death toll in road accidents every year will reach 2.2 million and 50 per cent will be Indians. So, the objective behind the Road Safety World Series is to make aware people in India and about road safety.

Road Safety World Series is a very good initiative to spread awareness among people through cricket as it is the most popular sport. We want to aware every individual of the country, and obey every rule and regulation of the road, said Nitin Gadkari, the union minister of Road, Transport and Highways of India.
