Rahul Dravid saying,
Ro (Rohit) gives you a lot of flexibility and freedom which is his strength throughout his captaincy stint whenever I have played with him
You can see in the statement made that flexibility, freedom and a lot of strength has been given to the players to play aggressive cricket.
Hardik also continues stating after the third T20I Match win that a lot of sense of security is given to the player with a proper mindset so that as players the players should not look back to the coach for their shoulders.
Here as well, a lot of credit goes to him and Rahul Dravid the way they have got the team together and making sure a lot of positive mindset comes in and players are feeling secure; they are not looking over their shoulder; making sure they are getting ample chances; they are getting told as well if they are not playing, and that is something which is commendable.
Hardik also revealed that the captain (Rohit) told them all to keep pushing, making variations in their gameplay and trying different techniques keeping the T20 World cup in mind. In other words, the captain was trying to explain how to do all your practice and experimentation so that during the world cup they have lots of options and ideas available.
Yesterday, India marked their second victory against West Indies in the 5-match T20I series after getting a defeat in the second T20I match. It was a good comeback from the Indian side. Suryakumar Yadav was declared to be the man of the match as he made knock of 76 runs off 44 balls, whereas on the other end, Rishabh Pant, scored 33 runs without being not out, playing an important innings for this team once again.
Hardik added,
The way we are putting bowlers under pressure, they are thinking that this Indian team, even if it is 10 for 3, will not look to play out the 20 overs, It is thinking that how can we reach 190 even from here. That attitude is making this team look more dangerous
