Pujara completes his 100th test Inning in the 2nd test against Australia

The most special test player in Team India- Cheteshwar Pujara is about to set a benchmark in the upcoming test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The next match will be Cheteshwar Pujara’s 100th test. The team of Australia will experience the journey of Cheteshwar Pujara via this test match at Delhi. Cheteshwar will be the 13th test player from India to complete this landmark.

India is taking on Australia for the next test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Delhi. Team India registered a great win against Australia with 132 runs and an inning. This was a remarkable beginning of the series by the Indian side on home soil against mighty Australia. This will be the 2nd test match of the series starting on Friday.                                            

The main attraction of the match obviously will be Cheteshwar Pujara’s 100th test. Pujara, 35 years old test batsman, shared some glimpses of his journey so far while discussing with the media. He said,” I played my first ever test also against Australia. I am happy to complete my 100th test appearance against them. Australia is the good cricket team in the world. I am happy to play with them. They are a tough side to score against Ausytralia . They have always brought out the very best in me. They shout, they talk. They create a new challenge every time. They enjoy the fight and challenges.”

To date, he has played 99th tests with 7021 runs. He has registered 19 centuries and 34 half-centuries. His career-best score is 206*. On Friday, he will be joining the below-mentioned list of test cricketers, who have completed their 100th test appearances, including Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.
