T20 World Cup 2024: PM Modi’s kindness won hearts as he shook hands with Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid during a match with the T20 World Cup 2024 champions. PM Modi had an easy talk with the Indian delegation in Delhi.

PM Narendra Modi’s kind act caught his attention during a meeting with the Indian delegation at his Lok Kalyan Marg residence in Delhi. The Indian team of world champions met PM Modi and posed for pictures while holding the coveted T20 World Cup. Prime Minister Modi did not hold the trophy himself; instead, he held the hands of India’s World Cup-winning captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid. The gesture showed PM Modi’s respect towards the Indian team for bringing the trophy.

Prime Minister Modi urged the team to continue with the title. He expressed confidence that the T20 World Cup win in Barbados will give them the motivation to do well in the upcoming tournament.In a video shared, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian cricket team are seen laughing while reminiscing about the World Cup campaign. Chief coach Rahul Dravid also spoke as the players sat down with the Prime Minister. PM Modi was smiling during the video as he was clearly hearing the players’ stories. Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya also addressed the meeting.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and President Roger Binny are also in the picture. The Indian team held a small cake-cutting ceremony at ITC Maurya in Delhi before proceeding to the Prime Minister’s residence. The Indian team donned custom jerseys with “Indian Champions” written on them. The Men in Blue received a warm welcome from fans early on July 4 at the Delhi airport. Seas of fans gathered at the stadium to give the winning team a hero’s welcome.
