India’s participation in the prestigious Sudirman Cup lingers in mistrust with the visa operations of the entire 23-member crew, including PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy. The Chinese delegacy has to confirm the same in Delhi. They have scheduled the 2023 Sudirman Cup from the 14th to the 21st of May in Suzhou, China.
As per a report in the media, the Indian crew, which is presently training in Hyderabad, has a flight reserved for 10th May to travel to China from Bengaluru.

India got qualified for the Sudirman Cup after winning bronze at the Badminton Asia mixed team championships in February. India is the favorite team for this cup.Indian team is at its best in team events.
India became champions at the Thomas Cup last year. It was for the first timein the country. The country’s badminton players created history by concluding on the podium at the Asian mixed team event.
The Badminton Association of India(BAI) has reportedly escalated this matter to the Badminton World Federation(BWF) under whose aegis the Sudirman Cup has been hosted. The fact is noticeable that the Chinese crew had faced an analogous issue while traveling to India for the 2023 India Open before the time.
But, someone properly answered this issue following the intervention of BAI. India had qualified for the 2023 Sudirman Cup on the reverse of their citation order winning performance at the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Crowns before this time.
