Key Highlights

  • Zaheer khan makes some bold prediction just before the 2nd T20I England Vs. India match tomorrow
  • Zaheer feels any changes made before the upcoming 2nd T20I against England, Indian has risk to lose its momentum
  • Talking about change, Zaheer also feels, Jasprit’s can make a comeback in absence of Arshdeep Singh

The former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan, has come forward making some very bold predictions before the second T20I match against England tomorrow (8th July) which is held at Edgbaston.

The former pace feels that after the comprehensive win against England in the first T20I match, the Indian side does not need any kind of alteration as it will hamper the winning momentum of the team.

“It is hard to sit and figure out which direction they are going to go in terms of selection. You have seen India win the first match of the series and then not make any changes for the rest of the series. I don’t think they will make any changes. If at all, one change at most, we have to wait and see what it would be,”

But Khan while speaking to the Cricbuzz team, feels not big but a slight change can be expected. The change that we are here talking about is Jasprit Bumrah in place of Arshdeep Singh.

Arshdeep Singh in the first T20I was good with the ball taking 2 wickets giving 18 runs of his innings. Listen to him to what he has to say,

“I don’t see the possibility of a change and you don’t want to lose momentum. Since Arshdeep Singh is not there for the second T20I, Jasprit Bumrah will take that spot,”

For your information, Arshdeep has been kept out from the 2nd and the 3rd T20I match against England.
