New Zealand to host first-ever FIFA Women's World Cup playoff tournament

There is a good news from New Zealand for football lovers. New Zealand is going to host first-ever Federation of International Football Association(FIFA) Women’s World Cup playoff tournament. The Tournament to be held in next year February-2023. New Zealand Football announced on Today.

Hamilton and Auckland will stage. The matches will be played between February 17 and 23, 2023. According to New Zeland Football, the playoff will consist of 10 teams competing for the last thre position. The team which lead in playoff to qualify for 2023 Women’s World Cup.

New Zealand Football shared a video today on its official twitter page,

“Excited for today’s announcement, tagging Grace Wisnewski and Footabller Kelly brown. Both player appreciated this event. They said, “The tournament is being held in their hometown, this is subject of pride for them.”

They appreciated New Zealand Football, said that its pretty incredible to be able to have games in Hamilton, its not something that happens very often. So to be able to have games in our own town and hope to gather sport lover in Hamilton. It’s pretty cool.

Football players of New Zealand are very happy after this announcement by New Zealand Football. This is something special that is going to host Hamilton as well as New Zealand.
