The upcoming game will give them the opportunity they need, game 2 on Friday night in Boston might give Celtics a chance to bounce back. Celtics initially took control of the game but Heat fought back with an utterly impressive 46-25 surge in the third quarter leading to a 123-116 victory in the game. Boston was leading by 13 points before the epic collapse when it allowed the Miami Heat to make 17 of 26 shots during the third quarter.

“We’re too far in to hang our heads. We’re too far in to look back and be like, The series is over,” Celtics guard Jaylen Brown said. “It’s one game. So we’ve just got to get ready to play the next one.”

“Got a great opportunity the next game on Friday to come out and play and lift our intensity. I’m looking forward to it.”

Jason Tatum gave Boston 30 points in game 1 but then completely disappeared in the fourth quarter, he didn’t even attempt a single field goal while in the period of his 3 of 4 turnovers. The best player on the floor in game 1 was Miami’s Jimmy Butler who scored 35 points, 7 assists, 6 steals & 5 rebounds.

“He’s one of the best players in the world for a reason,” Heat guard Kyle Lowry said. “It’s just a joy to watch it. For a guy who wants it so badly and works hard at his craft, enjoying his success is important. He gives us all the confidence to be successful, aggressive, and assertive.”

The heat swiped the advantage of the homecourt with the game 1 win.
