Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman was sent off the field during the third one-day international against Sri Lanka in Chattogram on Monday.

Mustafizur Rahman couldn’t complete the 10th over of the innings and couldn’t get off the field himself, bringing the stretcher into the game. Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings will closely monitor the fitness and recovery of the left-arm pacer, who will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament opener on March 22.

The defending champions already know about the sweat and fitness of Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathirana, who sustained an injury and was ruled out of the third T20I against Bangladesh.

Another incident happened on the field during the matches against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. In the last over of the first innings, Bangladesh uncapped players Jaker Ali and Anamul Haque collided while trying to catch Sri Lanka batters Pramod Madushan and Taskin Ahmed. Jaker Ali had to stretch out on the field after being injured due to a bad crash.
