Former Indian fielding coach R Shridhar has brought back an anecdote of his tenure when Mahendra Singh Dhoni was leading the India team, recited there were two things that Dhoni never negotiated the things are ‘Fielding and running between the wicket.’

Talking in an interview with a cricket report website, Sridhar said, Dhoni’s captaincy style was amazing and unique- when he was leading team always give special focus on fielding and running between the wickets which also attracted me more.
The above two things helped him in every matches, added former coach Sridhar.
Sridhar, who joined the Indian team in 2014 said that Dhoni made things clear among team associates. Dhoni, the legend Indian Skipper always put his stance clear among squad members before the start of the match that he would not accept these mistakes during the match that as fielding and running between the wickets.
Virat Kohli who handled the team as skipper after Dhoni tried to continue to follow Dhoni’s style and a maximum of time took that forward, Sridhar told the website anchor.
At the end of the interview, Sridhar recalled the best fielding session of his tenure, Some of the best fielding sessions I have had are with Umesh Yadav, Mohammad Siraj, Mohit Sharma was a great fielder being a fast bowler. And the usual suspects are Kohli, Jadeja and Manish Pandey… you had fun fielding with them. The guys like Chahal, Kuldeep, and Kedar are the ones who worked really hard on their skills. I really enjoyed working with those Indian stars.
