In 2007 at the T20 WORLD CUP Yuvraj Singh nearly ended Stuart Board’s bowling career by hitting 6 sixes for his 6 consecutive balls. And now at the Birmingham ground Jasprit Bumrah likewise dashed Stuart Board bowls for 35 runs in an over.

If Stuart bowled the most expensive over of T20 INTERNATIONAL in 2007,

it became the costliest over in 2022 TEST CRICKET HISTORY

STUART BOARD NOW HAS THE RECORD FOR CONCEEDING THE MOST RUNS IN AN OVER IN TEST CRICKET. Earlier no bowler in Test cricket had spent more than 28 runs in an over.

  • Second ball: Stuart hit a bouncer. The ball crossed the boundary after Jasprit hitting the wicketkeeper as well. India got 5 runs with the umpire declaring wide. The ball took the edge of the bat after Jasprit played a strange shot with the ball crossing the boundary for six runs over the wicketkeeper.   • Third ball:  With a good length ball, Jasprit’s bat taking the edge the ball went out for 4 runs from the side of the stumps.
  • Fourth ball:  Nothing seems to hinder Jasprit, with this ball he hits 4 runs.
  • Fifth ball: The leg-stumps ball is hit outside the boundary for 6 runs. Now everyone outside the field and inside the field is surprised and the WORLD RECORD HAS BEEN SET.
  • Sixth ball: On the last ball Jasprit managed to get 1 run thus accumulating a total of 35 RUNS in this over. THIS IS THE MOST RUNS IN AN OVER IN TEST CRICKET.
