On Monday, The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) confirmed that India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
The board informed on Twitter writing, “Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.”

BCCI also said in a statement that the medical team advised Bumrah to take proper rest and the decision was taken following a detailed assessment and in consultation with the specialties. The 28-year-old, was initially ruled out from the ongoing India vs South Africa T20 series due to back injury.
