IPL Franchise Mumbai Indians on Friday announced former South African legend Mark Boucher as their head coach for the 2023 season. He replaces Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardena, who was giving his services to the franchise team since 2017 after Australia’s Ricky Ponting.
It is an honour and privilege to be appointed as Head Coach of MI, said Boucher in a media release.

Boucher is currently the head coach of the South Africa National team, but earlier this week had announced to leave the role.
