The Indian Table Tennis star Sharath Kamal made a record in bagging the highest gold medals in Commonwealth Games at Birmingham. He recently picked the table tennis men’s singles gold and ended India’s 16 years wait at CWG. Kamal defeated England’s Liam Pitchford in the Birmingham CWG final. Following this win, Kamal became the first player who bagged the highest, 7 gold medals in TT in CWG history.
Whereas, there are only 16 players who have won three or more gold in this sport in the Commonwealth Games now. He is also placed in the top with three gold medals out of 72 countries /territories players that took part in Birmingham CWG-2022.
