Opener Suryakumar Yadav stars as he scored 76 off 44 balls
India restored its lead 2-1 in five matches T20 series against West Indies by winning 3rd match of the series at Warner Park in Trinidad on Tuesday. Opener Surya Kumar first time starred in the ongoing tournament as he completed his brilliant half-century (76 off 44 balls).

Yadav hit 8 fours and 4 huge sixes during batting. Whereas, Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten 33 off 26 balls helped India to register their great win by 7 wickets over the Caribbean. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first.

The opening of West Indies was very good as they lost first at 57 scores. Hardik Pandya, the Indian all-rounder picked Brandom King (20 off 20 balls)’s wicket on the second ball of 8th over. The other one Caribbean opener Kyle Mayers was still on the pitch and he stoked 73 off 50 balls including 8 fours and 4 sixes at 128 scores of WI. after returning him to the pavilion no other batter including the middle order also could perform well as West Indies gave a target of 164/5 in 20 overs.


While chasing the target Indian opener Surya Kumar took revenge of Mayer’s bat and he hit a brilliant half-century (76 off 44 balls). Yadav also hit 8 fours and 4 sixes from the India side. Rohit Sharma retired on his 11 of 5 balls due to a little injury. Sharma hit 1 four and 1 brilliant sixer. The wicket-keeper and batter Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten 33 off 26 balls helped India to win. India lost three wickets Shreyas Iyer (24 off 27 balls, 2 fours), Pandya (4 off 6 balls), and Yadav. Deepak Hooda (10 off 7 balls not out) scored well in his respective batting order.

Finally, India won the match by 7 wickets. Dominic Drakes, Jason Holder, and Akeal Hosin, picked one wicket each.
