India vs South Africa: It's difficult to defend when Suryakumar Yadav attacks bowlers, says Wayne Parnell

Suryakumar Yadav, the stellar performer of the Indian cricket team whose consistency has even mesmerized other cricket team players. And why we say so is primarily because, Wayne Parnell, who is the all-rounder cricket from the South Africa’s side says,

Personally, from what I’ve watched in the last couple of months, I think he’s probably the best T20 batters at the moment. He scores 360 degrees, which is difficult for bowlers to defend

Wayne Parnell

He further added,

It’s about being strong and focussed on each ball. He’s allowed to play good shots, but the other day he was lucky as well. He’s certainly a guy whom I enjoyed watching the last couple of months. He’s certainly playing good cricket

Wayne Parnell

Whether it was Wayne Parnell saying it or not, but indeed Surya through his recent few innings had exponentially shown a terrific form of batting skills and is the most feared batsman so far.

Apart from Surya’s topic, Wayne touched upon their recent T20I innings (first T20 match) against India, and expressed the prime reason behind their defeat was the Panic button, which they should have controlled upon. He appreciated the Indian bowling side saying,

We have to give credit to Indian seamers who bowled really well. We will have to define ways to counter that in the second game

Wayne Parnell

While concluding, Wayne touched upon two things and it was the variety that they have in their team and secondly, when asked upon their preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup Event, he said,

It’s been very good over the last few months. We were here in June, then went on a UK tour, coming back here again before going to Australia. Everyone is in really good spirits and looking forward to the next couple of T20Is and the ODIs as well.
