At the 2nd T20 at Johannesburg, South Africa – the Indian team of KL Rahul, captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Surya kumar Yadav and last not least Dinesh Karthik posted a massive 237 runs for 3 with KL Rahul declared the man of the match. Playing very aggressively, India’s top four batters put up a fantastic game.
The South African team though they started the game terribly, they started catching up with Team India only to fall short towards the end of the game. Hats off to Quinton de Kock and David Miller of South Africa, the latter who scored over a century for 47 balls and not out. His 106 runs included eight 4’s and 7 sixes but it could not save South Africa.
This was India’s first win over South Africa in a T20 series at Johannesburg over the Proteas.
The official Twitter handle of tea India was all praise for the team and their performance.
Though Team India has been consistently struggling at critical stages of the matches, this is not excessively worrying the skipper. Captain Rohit Sharma knows that most T20 matches are generally decided during the death over but his focus is for a better execution of plans by the team.
The Hindu Times quoted Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma in a post match presentation saying:

The team wants to play and bowl in a certain way and we want to give them that confidence. Yes, we have not bowled well at the death in the last five or six games. We are doing the same to the opposition as well,” “To bowl and bat at the death is very tough. That is where the game is decided. It is not concerning, but we need to pick ourselves and get our act together.
Let us see how both the teams will fare on the 3rd and final T20I.
