Out of form Bhuvaneshwar gave 15-runs in the 17thover and opened the way for Australia to win. Australia’s wicketkeeper batter Matthew Wade enjoyed Bhuvneshwar’s poor form and took his team to victory through his astonishing 45-run knock of 21 balls in the death overs.
The two teams will reunite today at 7:PM at VCA Stadium Vidarbha to play the second T20 of three matches series. Australia is leading 1-0 in the series.
