Riding on the crest of the confidence wave through their recent superb performances in the Women’s Asia Cup 2022, India’s Deepti Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues have made some impressive gains in the ICC Women’s T20 latest rankings. Deepti has moved into the top three spots of the rankings. The 25-year-old all-rounder picked up 3/27 against Pakistan, 2/13 against Bangladesh, and 2/10 against Thailand. At present, England’s Sarah Glenn and Sophie Ecclestone are ahead of Sharma in rankings.
Deepti’s fellow star Jemimah has also made some impressive gains in the list as she has jumped ahead of Shafali Verma and New Zealand legend Suzie Bates. She secured six spots for herself in the latest rankings.
