ODI series: India beat England by 10 wickets, Skipper Sharma scored 76, Bumrah booked 6 English players

India beat England in their den by 10 wickets in first battle of three matches ODI series at Kenington Oval on Tuesday. Skipper Rohit sharma won the toss, but he opted to field first. The England team could not face the fast bowling of Indian pacer Jaspreet Bumrah (7.2 overs 6/19) and Mohammad Shami (7overs-3/31) and bundled out for 110 in just 25.2 overs. Chasing the target, opener Rohit Sharma (76 not out) and Shikhar Dhavan (31 not out) played storming inning as India won the match by scoring 114 in just 18.4 overs.

            It is the first time when team India defeated England by 10 wickets in one day match. Following this India has taken lead with 1-0 in series. The Indian bowlers Bumrah, Shami and Prasidha Krishna (1 wicket) made right Skipper Sharma’s decision as he opted fielding first after winning the toss at pro bowling pitch.

            The England Side, Jos Buttler, the English team captain scored highest (30) and David Villi, Brydon Cars , Moin Ali collect respectively 21, 15 and 14 for their team. No other player could touch the double-digit score. While English team bowlers also failed in the second inning.

            Following the winning form as team India won T20Is against the England, it is expected that India clean sweep in on-going ODI series in the captain ship of Sharma. He hit 7 fours and 5 sixes in his unbeaten 76 off 58 balls.
