World-seeded No.1 Iga Swiatek spoke out Tuesday once harassment accusations against Poland’s court game federation president Miroslaw Skrzypczynski. On Monday, Polish parliamentarian Katarzyna Kotula told media she had suffered abuse as a young juvenile person from Skrzypczynski, her then coach. Swiatek, the ruling North Yankee country and French Open champion took to Twitter to demand action.
“As this leader of women’s court game, I’m unable to remain silent”, the 21-year-old wrote.
“I have religion within the reports involving the Polish athletic game Association’s president together issue seriously”.
“We ought to be compelled to put confidence in them (the victims) first of all,” she said, listing helplines for those seeking a recommendation.
She requested the federation “to solve what has gone on.”
“It’s not my duty or task to undertake the work of the association’s administrators or reporters as a result of the case is simply too serious involving the lives.”
She thanked her father for having protected her throughout her young career, adding that she had never been a victim of abuse.
Kotula diagrammatical Skrzypczynski as a “sexual predator”.
Iga Swiatek said he had raped her “at least a dozen times in three years” once she was attached to a club in the north-east of Poland in the 19 Nineties.
Kotula tutored she wasn’t the only one to be abused by Miroslaw Skrzypczynski.
