  • Dinesh Karthik with 108 points head up at the 87th spot of the ICC T20I rankings
  • Babar Azam and his teammate associate Mohammed Rizwan holds their position tight at the 1st and the 2nd spot

In a latest development of ICC rankings, Ishan Kishan jumps to the sixth spot of the ICC T20I rankings with rating of 704. This will be the first time when the player was able to make it to the ICC’s list of ranking. On the other hand, Dinesh Karthik’s continuous contribution for his team brings him up to the 87th spot of the ICC rankings with rating of 108. His achievement gets followed by his half century against the proteas in the recently concluded India vs South Africa 5-match T20I home series on the home turf.

Babar Azam and his teammate associate Mohammed Rizwan holds their position tight at the 1st and the 2nd spot.

From the bowling side Yuzvendra Chahal made a major leap to 23rd spot at the ICC rankings which followed by his 6-wicket achievement against the recently conducted Ind vs SA T20I series again. The Australian bowler, Josh Hazelwood remains first with 792 as his rating at the ICC T20I rankings.

Latest development from the ICC test rankings, with rating 346, Shakib Al Hasan ranks up to the second spot which is just next to the top-ranked allrounder Ravindra Jadeja with 385 rating points. The Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has been recently reselected as the captain for his team. It will be difficult (not impossible) for Shakib to surpass Ravindra Jadeja as he is jam-packed with matches the whole year and could probably rise more than we even expect.

Virat Kohli, sticks to the 10th spot whereas Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah jumps up at 2nd and 3rd position of the ICC ranking with 850 and 830 rating points respectively. Test bowling department is still top-ranked by the Australian cricketer Pat Cummins with 901 rating points.
