Alex Hales and Joss Butler beat India
In the second semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Adelaide on Thursday, England defeated India by 10 wickets behind the 170 run partnership of Alex Hales and Jos Butler. When facing Indian bowlers early in the innings, the opening British pair put on a particularly impressive performance in Adelaide. The England skipper eventually joined the fray late in the innings, though, as England was comfortably in control of the game.
With their partnership with England,they chased 169 for all ten wickets and 24 balls. Hales was undefeated with 86 out of just 47 deliveries, while Butler was 80* out of 49 deliveries. did. Rohit was out in his 9th over of the innings with 27 of 28 deliveries and Surya Kumar Yadav soon after he died on 14. This will see England reach the final, where they will face Pakistan at the MCG on Sunday. Coming into the bat, India went 6-for-168 after Virat Kohli’s 40-ball 50 and Hardik Pandya’s 33-ball 63.
