Cristiano Ronaldo vented his frustration when he hit a stack of water bottles on the touchline after Al-Nassr’s defeat on Thursday night. The 38-year-old played the full game as Al-Nassr suffered a 1-0 loss to title rivals Al-Ittihad, leaving them second in the table. All eyes were on Ronaldo to decide the difference between the top two teams in Saudi Arabia but the striker failed to score in the second game in a row. And after blowing the final whistle and confirming Ronaldo’s first league defeat at Al-Nassr, the Portuguese star cut a frustrated figure. In a video now going viral on social media, the former Man United striker is seen shaking his head in disappointment after the final whistle.

Despite being comforted by a teammate, Ronaldo was still visibly upset with the outcome of the game and continued to wave his arms in dismay. a group of water bottles standing on the sidelines. Some of the bottles flew and the striker even managed to dig up part of the pitch while shaking his leg in anger. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner walked through the tunnel with a look of disgust on his face as fans cheered his name from the stands.

The 38-year-old struggled to make an impact throughout the game and failed to inspire his team to victory in a deserved defeat.
